A Night to Remember...

Once upon a time a few friends decided to go to Hot Springs for the night. Plans included eating at Colton's, skipping around town, and watching Jacob and Edward duke it out. However, after further inspection the friends noticed something missing...
Yeah take one last look at this DRAB wrist...

and this one...

Then these friends had the bright idea to do a little "tatting". So off they go to a little ink shop downtown. They all pick out their tats. Frank said, "This is gonna be so scary, yo." However The Deaf One heard, "It's your turn, Carrie Jo." So off she went.

Is she smiling...or gritting her teeth??

B-E-A-utiful!!
After some hesitation and friendly persuasion, The Old One takes the hot seat. (We discussed her ailing body with Frank and decided an outline tat would be best...)
I don't think he'd even started yet...;)

hahahahahahaha (:
Next up, is The Fearless One. A wrist tattoo? No way! So off the clothes came. Not a tear fell, but I believe a couple of people walked away with sore knuckles...

A little pain there, Bridgett??

Notice anything...missing...???

Ahh...there we go!
So where is The Obedient One in all of this you ask?? After a couple phone calls, a few hundred texts, innocent peer pressure, and a submissive wife conscience, she decided to stick with a quick ear piercing! Awww...that's one lucky husband there to have such an obedient wife 60 miles away!!!! (:
Yeah, tell me I'm not brave!!!

This was about at 3 a.m. at Wal-Mart...
Somewhere in all of this mayhem, we made a quick trip through Wendy's where we received a cheeseburger with no cheese, a non-spicy yet extra spicy chicken sandwich, and frozen french fries. However, I will have to say that if you do not understand what they are saying on the speaker, they will spell it out for you very, very, very slowly.
Unfortunately on our journey back home, we took the life of an innocent deer. On the bright side, my tahoe got buffed.
We also made it to the premier of Eclipse!! If you have never set on the front row of a movie theater...don't! It will take a team of viewers to keep eachother informed of what's happening due to the continous 3 hour whiplash. But it was a good movie...Jacob won. That's a true story.

Happy 92nd Birthday, Granny!

My Granny Mazie celebrated her 92nd birthday on June 27. I love you, Granny!

First Movie!!

I took Gus and Bo to their first movie in a theater yesterday. What an experience!! The first 20 minutes of the movie was super cute. Not sure what happened after that!!!! (: Let's just say Bo has also made his last movie appearance for a while!! What was I thinking anyway?!?!

Carrie Jo, her 3 girls, and Taylor also went with us. We ate lunch at McDonald's before the movie and grocery shopped afterwards. By that point, KIRBY was the next destination! Ohhh the life with young kids...(: (: (:

First School Trip!

My Child Care class has worked with Kindergarten all year. They invited us to go to the Zoo with them for a field trip! I was able to bring along Gus which turned out to be great!! He had his first bus ride! He talked about the train ride the whole time we were walking around. Too bad when we got there it was only about a 30 second ride! He didn't seem to mind. We only had about 3 hours to see the entire zoo. That was good and bad. Good because it was H-O-T!! Bad because my group missed one entire section including the bears and tigers!!! We had no problems with any of the kids and everyone seemed to have a great time!!
Waiting for the train!

Strike a pose!

1 long bus ride + a day at the zoo + no nap = a tired baby boy

Gotta be serious when you ride a train...

I told him to put his head in the hole so I could take his picture...

I love the turtles!

Tyanna showing Gus the bats!

Checking out...something...

Soaking it all in...

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Turner!!

Barry's good friend since high school, Glenn, married Shana over the Memorial Day weekend up at a ranch by Bismarck. We have to go back to this ranch!!! It was beautiful and so much stuff to do...indoor pool, pool tables, Wii's, PS, foosball, air hockey, pingpong, fishing, paddle boats, huge swing set, etc. We took the boys up for the rehearsal but they did NOT make it back for the wedding on Saturday!! (: Just ignore the dates on all the pictures...only two buttons work on my camera...the power and the snap...
