Pleasant Grove Christmas Caroling

Many of us went Christmas caroling this past Sunday night. We went around New Hope and sang to our usual houses...Bea, Doyle, Tommy, Glenda Carol, Diane and Don, Barbara, Lois, Mamaw, Granny, Pat and Coonie. Coonie was actually in the hospital and Pat wasn't home, but we tried! Mamaw had fresh baked chocolate chips cookies for us and Barbara had some candy for the kids. Bodee stayed behind at Granny and Pa's. He fell out after the birthday party so he just stayed behind. Gus had a good time. He looked so cute in his new overalls and boots from Papaw. Below are a few snaps I got at our last stop.

Ladies' Auxilary Christmas Party

We had our annual Christmas party at the Fish Nest. Everyone was there...Melissa, Carrie Jo, Brenda, Ethel, Judy and Beverly. After stuffing ourselves, we had our ornament exchange. I ended up with Mel's snowglobe one. It had a cross in the middle with John 3:16 written underneat! BE-A-U-TIFUL!!! I think Beverly got mine. It said "JOY" and in the "O" was a manger scene. Good times!

Meeting with Santa Claus

This was Bodee's first time to meet Santa and Gus' first time to like it!! Soon as we walked up and saw him Gus wanted to sit in his lap! Bo wasn't scared either; as the picture shows he just stared at him. We had family pics this morning with Kelly so I was afraid they would be about pictured out. What does Gus want for Christmas? A river.

ONLY 5 Years or JUST 5 Years?!?! (:

The four of us went to Hot Springs to celebrate our 5 year anniversary. Not 5 miles out of town I turned around to find the boys fast asleep!! Guess we shopped more than I thought! Too sweet!!! I have to say though their car seats are now separated. The above picture is a rare glimpse at each boys hands in is own personal space.

Happy 26! (so glad I wasn't born in the 70's like SOME people I know!)

I had a great birthday this year! Lots of phone calls, cards, texts, posts and wishes! And lots of presents too! Jacket, money, chow-chow, cards, party, outing to Hot Town with my boys.

My Princess Party!!!

Melissa and Carrie Jo planned me a surprise Princess Party (because I'm soooo young!). Several teachers brought different things for a pot luck at lunch. When I walked into school that morning Bridgett had signs hung up that said "Guess who's over the hill now? Brandi Tolleson!" I had 2 kids ask me if I was 40!!! I'm assuming/hoping that the "over the hill" part through them completely off! Also, there were invitations hanging up with a huge one on my classroom door inviting me to the party. I wore a birthday princess ribbon all day and got to wear a crown at my party. It was GREAT!! I even had a pink princess cake!! Thanks everyone!!!
