Gus turns 5!!

Well he turned 5 almost 5 months ago!!! I have majorly neglected my blog and since I posted about Bo's 3rd birthday I just couldn't leave him out!!

Ever since Gus has turned 5, he can do amazing things! (; He was expecting to start Kindgarten the next day, and it took some major convincing to get him to understand that he would start it would just be a little later!! His legs and arms did get longer though!! Now he's just waiting for his teeth to start falling out! I love this little guy!!

Height - 3 ft. 9 in.

Weight - 36 lbs.

Shoe Size - 12

Clothes - 5T-6

Favorite person - He's definitely a Momma's boy! He loves to tell Bo what to do!

Favorite thing to play - TRAINS!!!!

What he wants to be when he grows up - a train "maductor", fly planes, build garage doors, and run a skidder like Papaw

Loves to have his hair spiked! Has even started going to the "booty" shop to have it cut. When I asked him why he didn't cry like he does with me or Memaw, he said, "because I don't want them to see me cry!" Good enough for me!

Happy New Year 2012!!

Had a great time at the Neal's for New Year's! Sooo many of our friends were there. We stuffed our faces and played games all night...my kind of party!! At the stroke of midnight we had a circle prayer and prayed for the requests made, a blessed 2012 and most of all for others to come to know God!! Whether or not Dec. 2012 is "the last day" let's get ready!!

Bodee turns 3!!!

You never fully understand the saying, "time flies" until you become a parent!! Three sounds so much older than two!!! But he's very proud to say he's "tree" and it takes him lots of concentration to get only three fingers up! His birthday is New Year's Eve which fell on a Saturday this year. He got to pick where we ate lunch so of course he said Pizza Shack! Besides the 4 of us, Granny, Cuppie, and Zeke joined us. The kids had a blast in the game room and none of them were ready to leave! That night we went to Trish and Sheridan's to ring in the New Year...Bo was so excited so many people showed up to his party!!! LOL

The boys shared their birthday party at Play-by-Play (post coming later) on Saturday; the following Monday I took them both to the doctor where they were diagnosed with upper respiratory infections and pink eyes!!! They both absolutely HATE the eye drops!! Well about the time that started to clear up...on Wednesday the boys were playing on the barstools rearranging the pics/magnets on the fridge and Bodee fell off!! So about 4:00 we head out to the ER! We ended up going to the Express Clinic where he received 3 staples! It took 4 nurses to hold him down! Immediately when they were done I got him and he stopped crying and asked for a hamburger! (I'll post pics of the staples soon)

Loves: being outside playing in the mud or making mud, riding his bicycle, playing monster trucks, playing trains with Gus, piggy back rides, "poppin lillies" with Daddy on the bicycle

Christmas 2011 at Memaw and Papaw's

I don't know what's up with my pictures. These are the best ones that downloaded and they're still scratchy!! I've tried several times, but oh well...

Christmas was great this year! Both boys really got into and loved everything they got! We started out with the Mounts Christmas in early December at Dierks. The 23rd we went to Mom and Dad's and on the 24th we went to Bill and Carina's. We woke up Sunday morning to Santa gifts and then church at 11. After church we went to Mamaw Ceola's. Bodee kept wandering where Jesus' birthday cake was!!

Some presents they got include:

red locomotive train, yellow Cat train set, Innotab, Cars stuff, Thomas trains and tracks, shirts, tool box with tools, remote controlled monster trucks, Muck boots, Cars carseats, movies, toboggins, Nerf guns, deer target...
