8 months old = 2nd time to Doctor

Nina called me yesterday and said Bo had a 101 fever. When I got there she said an RN had just been there to pick up her daughter. She said not to take him to the dr. until his temp was 103!! That's just too long to me. I got him home and gave him Tylenol and took his temp an hour later...103.4! I called mom to go to the doctor with me. We got there about 6:00 last night and didn't leave until 8. The waiting room was PACKED! They tested him for the flu and strep...thankfully both negative. Sent him home with Zithromax antibiotics to fight off whatever it was. He is such a busy, busy little baby and since yesterday he just lays on you. It's bittersweet. His fever got to 104.4 today!! I called the nurse and she said not to bring him back until tomorrow if it didn't go down. She said it takes the Z a couple of days to kick in. He got up tonight and tried so hard to play. Gus was dancing and running around trying to make him laugh. So sweet.

You can tell by his eyes that he doesn't feel good. Poor baby.
